Description
There’s nothing like spending time in the great outdoors, pitching a tent and watching the sun set over the horizon. This Australian classic has all the aromas to match. Earthy forest floor, a hint of eucalypt, red fruit, leather belt, green peppers, fresh chopped kindling, a savoury palate and a firm handshake of tannin. A savoury, evocative drop best shared around a campfire with friends.

Danshi Rise Tasting Notes, July 2020

Steve’s Notes: A very special wine for me, drinking beautifully and whilst it was Shiraz that drew me to establish in McLaren Vale, this very small batch of Cabernet absolutely stands out. We give special treatment to this fruit, by netting and late hand picking, then maturing in select French and American oak barrels. One of my very best wines. Surprisingly, the 2014 is my current release as this one needed time. 186 cases produced.
