The Danshi Rise story…………

Beautifully picturesque, small scale McLaren Vale vineyard, established in 1998 totalling 15 acres of low yielding vines, planted, owned and operated by Stephen and Sue Daniel.

Vineyard is predominantly Shiraz with small plantings of Cabernet and Tempranillo vines. Small parcels of Grenache and Mouverdre sourced nearby when fruit quality permits.

In true Steve Daniel’s style, this is all about honest ‘old school’ winemaking, with no shortcuts, select harvesting, small batch fermenters, allowing time on oak to do its magic.

Those who know Steve, on face value he is friendly, welcoming and relaxed, deep down he is totally focused and passionate, making full body quality wine to be genuinely enjoyed & stand the test of time.
